GARDEN STATE LACROSSE OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION LLC

Training and Assigning Boys Lacrosse Officials in the New Jersey Area
The #1 allegation during law suites in youth sports is lack of training. If a player, coach or spectator is seriously injured the plaintiffs attorney(s) will want to see the training records of everyone involved. This includes all coaches, officials and their assignors.
The primary purpose of the Garden State Lacrosse Officials Association (GSLOA) is to train and assign officials for the North Jersey Junior Lacrosse League.

WHY USE GSLOA OFFICIALS TO WORK YOUR TOURNAMENT OR FESTIVAL?

We recognize the importance of making sure properly trained and insured officials are working anytime kids are on the field, and as such we offer our tournament assigning services FREE OF CHARGE for most small to mid size tournaments. Large tournaments can be assigned for a very competitive fee.

By using the GSLOA to assign your games, tournament or festival you have the following benefits:

  • You can be assured all officials assigned will have been properly trained in both NFHS (high school) and US Lacrosse Youth Rules. Just because an official is a certified high school or college official does not mean they have received proper training on US Lacrosse Boys Youth Rules. Many of these rules are significantly different than high school or college rules.

  • The GSLOA uses only US Lacrosse registered officials and uses US Lacrosse Certified trainers and Assignors.

  • We will assist you in setting the rules for your tournament or fesitival to assure compliance with US Lacrosse rules.
